Whats the difference between all the grand theft autos computer games?

i was thinking of buying the computer game for my mac, so i was wondering, which one should i get? There are so many! Well actually, how many are there? Which one is the best? Which one is the newest one? And whats the difference between all of them?

Not much of a difference.

There is 1, 2, 3, Vice City, San Andreas, and 4. 1 and 2 get old pretty fast. All the others are awesome. You can get 3, Vice City, and San Andreas in a bundle pack for 25$. I recommend that because I absolutely love those 3 games. They are a bit dated but still fun. I grew up playing them. you could also get 4 for about 20$. Get the GTA Trilogy for sure. sorry editing again.
